CDP offers various training possibilities, to suit the need in your organisation.
During the training, the basics of SROI will be explained. However, the focus of any training will be on the practical application and implementation of SROI in the setting of international cooperation, exemplified by CDP's broad field experience in applying the methodology.
An important aspect of SROI is the co-operation with the beneficiaries and other stakeholders in setting goals and gathering data. Reason to make this a central topic: various stakeholder assessment and questioning methodologies are discussed and put into practice, again illustrated by CDP's practical field experiences.
Implementation
In a growing number of projects CDP is applying SROI, aspects of it, whether or not in combination with other monitoring and evaluation methods.
The methodology permits a relatively quick assessment of the needs and interests of your stakeholder groups, and the relative importance of your investment.
But also as an evaluation tool, SROI is very valuable. By assessing all changes an intervention has created, the methodology provides a clear overview of its exact added value - and in relation to made investments.
